We came home the other day and discovered the garage would only open about 6 inches. Discovered that one of the door springs had broken. I searched and found Precision Garage Door. They had a high 4 star rating so I booked an appt for repair. They were very quick and came out the same day. The technician suggested I replace my entire door system at the cost of a mere $3600. I only had 1 spring broken so I told him just to fix the spring. He suggested I would really need to replace both springs and replace all the rollers because the motor was dragging the door up. So I asked ho much for all that. The tech quoted about $700 and I thought that sounded a bit high, but I agreed. I have no problem with the politeness and ability of the technician, he did good work and was professional and quick. My only problem was the final bill was $815 which was, what I thought, over priced. I did some research after he left and found the average repair cost is about $350-$435 for the same type repair. So the only reason I gave a 3 star was the over pricing by this company. If your looking to pay a fair price, you may want to look elsewhere.

Mackenzie P. replaced my broken spring and added another spring which is standard to have and a replacement bearing! He answered all of my questions and explained all parts/mechanisms including what he changed out for me. I have a better understanding of how everything works. Ethan came to our home today & did GREAT, efficient work & explained every question asked. Nothing on our garage doors was broken, but the doors had become noisier in the last year. Both our garage doors are 20 yrs old. We had both motors replaced & rollers, plus springs, and bottom seals to keep out weather. Amazing how much quieter both doors are now !! Cost was more than expected, but since we did not know what was the problem, and age of doors, we decided to go with all of Ethan recommendations, plus one more.

My appointment was acknowledged for 8:00-10:00 am and Drew called at 8:30 which was super. We had our other opener replaced 3 years ago and everything went great then so we went back for our small golf cart size garage opener. The opener was very old so Drew replaced with a Genie in about an hour. Great service and he also added the GFI protector on both openers so our warranty would not be voided in case of a power surge. Price seemed a little high since only 3 years ago we replaced with Lift Master at $700 but this one was $920 plus the GFI plugs. Service was fast and Drew was a very nice young man. I'm to old to put in an opener on my own so glad your company is available. Thanks
