I am very disappointed with Precision Door Service. We had a representative (T. G.) come out for a service call. He was very nice, but it seemed like they were trying to up-sale instead of help us. We paid a $75 service call visit and T. G. was not able to fix our door. He said that we needed a whole new garage door. Our spring was broken, a track was bent and none of our panels were damaged. We were quoted $3K and that the parts would be ordered and in 2-4 weeks. We were charged $268 total for the visit instead of the $75 service call. The tech did not fix our door, but did get the door closed. We called another local company to give us a second estimate because we did not think we needed another door. The other company came out the day of call, replaced the broken spring and new cables and tapped out the bent rail. We had the door repaired and working smoothly at the time of the initial service call. They charged us $482.90 vs $3268 we would have paid with Precision. I don't think I've ever written a bad review, but this could have cost us thousands more than it should have. I also don't know why we were charged $268 for the service call when no work was done (except closing the garage door) when we were quoted $75.

Wednesday April 30th, had a little incident with my garage at 11:30. I called Precision and they sat me up on Thursday with a technician. At 8: 30 he showed up and not only told me what was wrong with my garage door he showed me. Gave me a detailed estimate and what needed to be done so I told them to do it. I was fortunate enough that they had what I needed to replace everything so they had a installer come out on Friday morning and was done in 2 hours. When he got thru he showed me how everything worked and what he had done. The gentleman was very professional, courtesy and kind. Done an excellent job. I was very pleased with the whole transaction. Just had Precision out to our house for the second time in a couple of months, and it was another great experience. Collin did another great job replacing the trim on and around our garage door. Main spring broke last night after hours. I called Precision and the phone was immediately answered by a very nice lady. She listened to my story and booked an appointment for me this morning. The technician was actually early, called to make sure it was OK to come. He got right to work. He seemed to be very nice, extremely knowledgeable and very competent. He fixed the problem quickly and even spotted a few other problems that needed attention. I have used this company before and this experience was very consistent with my previous opinion. I will always use them for any garage door work in the future. They do great work!

Excellent service. The entire process from booking online to the final billing was very easy. Our tech Sawyer called me on his way and arrived promptly as scheduled. He took the time to explain the inspection process, describe the issues, and suggested repairs. He was very knowledgeable and professional. The entire repair of two doors took less than 2 hours. We didn’t realize how badly our doors needed repair until we heard the almost silent movement with the new parts. I would definitely recommend your company to anyone. Thanks

Precision sales and installation was professional quality and quick. I made a decision on the door upgrade and it was installed in the morning of the following day. The installers even indicated that a particular piece of the installtion was not going to be necessary and arranged to have another $150.00 deducted from the bill - even better. Precision has serviced and installed doors in my neighborhood over the years, further proof of their skill and reliability. I am very pleased with my new garage door and controller upgrade.

Had an emergency with our garage door. Someone was on site in less than 2 hours from the time we called. Options for repair/replacement were explained along with estimated prices. New garage door including hardware and motor was installed the next morning. There was a problem but the technician remained on site until the problem was resolved and everything was working to our satisfaction. Very pleased and grateful for both the technicians and the quick response time.

Every single time they come to my house, they try to sell me a new motor. They tried again last Friday. I've bought 2 in the last 2 years. I had to have my husband handle it. That is irritating to me. The wrong 'motherboard" was ordered. That won't be in for another 3 days. So, I get to get on a ladder to open and close my large garage door. Not fun. :(

A+ for everything except COST. Price gouging at its worst. And for that alone I'm giving this company a one star, F-, I'll never say a good thing about it. My tech built his estimate by singling out and entering the priced items he's going to need into his ipad. I had a seven line invoice (which I had to call the company to receive) and the LOWEST line total was $128.10 ($49.88 per freeway bearing x3, an item I could find for $2.66 at a supply house). I asked my tech how a re-enforcement bracket could cost $149 and he said that I had to take into account that each item had to be installed, i.e. there's labor involved. So if they're figuring in labor in the cost of each part, why a $97 one hour labor charge? Bottom line: $1331 + tax for outrageously overpriced parts and less than an hour of work. Go somewhere else.

Your service was immediate. The technician was courteous and listened to all my concerns. He assessed the situation and explained to me what he thought was wrong. He estimated the job and allowed me to decide what I wanted to do. Once I had decided, he proceeded to replace parts of my garage door. To be honest, the initial reason we selected Precision to call was because you were open on the weekends, and we hoped not to have to wait until Monday. Additionally, "woman owned" caught my eye. Tony was able to arrive earlier than expected, providing immediate assistance on a Saturday afternoon! He was knowledgeable, professional, explained our options, and gave us time to discuss and decide. We are glad we selected Precision.
