Normally I don’t bother filling out these surveys but feel compelled to after your technician Tony Griffis did an outstanding service on our garage door(s). Tony only quickly troubleshot and identified the initial problem, (the side that quit working), and replaced the entire motor unit with a newer, upgraded model of the one we had. Realizing the rail bearings were ALL worn, and the rails needed greasing to boot, he advised us to replace all 24 bearings as the ones he took off and inspected were either froze or close to it. He also advised us to let him grease the rails also, which he said he didn’t have, but would return to do that at his earliest opportunity. Not just all that, but he also took the time to show us how our new keypad and door actuator panel worked, THEN he helped us install the “myQ” app so we can use our smart phones to open the doors, too!!! - PROMOTE!!!

I met Steve and some of his folks a couple of years ago. I knew right off that Steve is a first class person and his people are as well. Tony came out to give us a quote for a new door. The old unit wasn’t installed correctly and it’s 20 years old. Any way Tony is friendly and professional. Quoted me what I needed and nothing more. Precision Door is first Class!

Ethan was timely, friendly and very professional! He quickly after looking at our issue, gave us options and pricing. After deciding on the option that was best for us, he promptly got everything he needed from his truck, completed the fix , went over everything he did, asked if we had any questions. He packed everything up and left everything as he found it. The garage door is fixed and is setup to last a lot longer than if we hadn’t done what he suggested by giving us the options he did. I feel very good about our selection of this company and after having Ethan as our technician I would certainly use them again as well as recommend Ethan and this company !

I scheduled an appointment on line for 12-2, the technician calls at 10:22 am and says he will will be there in 10 minutes. I scheduled from 12-2 for a reason, so I had to drop what I was doing and rush home to meet him, which I didn't appreciate, that was my reason for scheduling from 12-2, after arriving and speaking to the tech, he stated he couldn't repair the broken spring due my doors were installed incorrectly, which have been working fine for the 15 years we have lived here, he stated that new doors would work so much better, we have had no issue we these doors until the spring broke. As a service tech myself, when I stared asking questions about the repairs, he was trying to give me some indirect answers, he also told me to change the broken spring, he would have disassemble the other door, when I ask why, he told me if he just removed the bar and pulleys it would put to much pressure on the track, which would have no more pressure on it after removal than it does before the removal. He thought by pricing the repair high enough that I would agree to the replacement. If I was not mechanical and a technician I would just went for the replacement on his recommendation. It's sad that he was only interested in selling me a new set of doors. Needless to say I paid him the service call and sent him on his way. I do not recommend this company to anyone

Tony your technician was excellent. He knew what he was doing and explained.the service needed. He estimated the job would take two hours and it was. I paid by credit card. The receipt should have been sent to my email. I have not received it yet. We purchased a new opener, remotes, key pads and rollers.

I called at 1:30 and Scott told me they could have someone there between 2:00 and 6:00 that same day... Thanks much. Collin called at about 1:45 after he finished a job in Bryant and he said he would be there in about 45 minutes and he arrived as he said at about 2:30. Great service. Ours is an older door so was not sure what we needed but I knew the spring was broken. Yes that and more was needed but was a little apprehensive at first but after Collin showed me all the problems and explained the safety issues, we went along with the total repair. Needed many things that I would never have thought but tonight the door works great and the opener seems to be much quieter. Money well spent and a great guarantee. Thanks again Collin and Scott.
