Garage door seals were poorly made, & not a match to the track based seals OEM they replaced. One of the seals isn't mounted correctly, & looks terrible!!!

You can get talk with James who was not concerned about my experience with your company. He didn't much care. Tony stretched out some wires and got the door to operate. Then I had to ask him to secure them with a clamp, why he didn't do that in the first place is questionable. Scheduling was a nightmare. I can't recommend your company.

Normally I don’t bother filling out these surveys but feel compelled to after your technician Tony Griffis did an outstanding service on our garage door(s). Tony only quickly troubleshot and identified the initial problem, (the side that quit working), and replaced the entire motor unit with a newer, upgraded model of the one we had. Realizing the rail bearings were ALL worn, and the rails needed greasing to boot, he advised us to replace all 24 bearings as the ones he took off and inspected were either froze or close to it. He also advised us to let him grease the rails also, which he said he didn’t have, but would return to do that at his earliest opportunity. Not just all that, but he also took the time to show us how our new keypad and door actuator panel worked, THEN he helped us install the “myQ” app so we can use our smart phones to open the doors, too!!! - PROMOTE!!!

I scheduled an appointment on line for 12-2, the technician calls at 10:22 am and says he will will be there in 10 minutes. I scheduled from 12-2 for a reason, so I had to drop what I was doing and rush home to meet him, which I didn't appreciate, that was my reason for scheduling from 12-2, after arriving and speaking to the tech, he stated he couldn't repair the broken spring due my doors were installed incorrectly, which have been working fine for the 15 years we have lived here, he stated that new doors would work so much better, we have had no issue we these doors until the spring broke. As a service tech myself, when I stared asking questions about the repairs, he was trying to give me some indirect answers, he also told me to change the broken spring, he would have disassemble the other door, when I ask why, he told me if he just removed the bar and pulleys it would put to much pressure on the track, which would have no more pressure on it after removal than it does before the removal. He thought by pricing the repair high enough that I would agree to the replacement. If I was not mechanical and a technician I would just went for the replacement on his recommendation. It's sad that he was only interested in selling me a new set of doors. Needless to say I paid him the service call and sent him on his way. I do not recommend this company to anyone

Tony your technician was excellent. He knew what he was doing and explained.the service needed. He estimated the job would take two hours and it was. I paid by credit card. The receipt should have been sent to my email. I have not received it yet. We purchased a new opener, remotes, key pads and rollers.

We came home the other day and discovered the garage would only open about 6 inches. Discovered that one of the door springs had broken. I searched and found Precision Garage Door. They had a high 4 star rating so I booked an appt for repair. They were very quick and came out the same day. The technician suggested I replace my entire door system at the cost of a mere $3600. I only had 1 spring broken so I told him just to fix the spring. He suggested I would really need to replace both springs and replace all the rollers because the motor was dragging the door up. So I asked ho much for all that. The tech quoted about $700 and I thought that sounded a bit high, but I agreed. I have no problem with the politeness and ability of the technician, he did good work and was professional and quick. My only problem was the final bill was $815 which was, what I thought, over priced. I did some research after he left and found the average repair cost is about $350-$435 for the same type repair. So the only reason I gave a 3 star was the over pricing by this company. If your looking to pay a fair price, you may want to look elsewhere.
